Get Yourself A Mentor

Wednesday, April 9th, 2008

Why do you need a mentor?
I will answer the question using an illustration. If a man embarks on a tour of an unknowing territory without employing the service of an experienced guide, we will not be surprised if he ends up lost. Would we? Common sense demands that anyone embarking on a journey into an unknown territory should employ the service of the best guide that knows the territory very well. It is plain stupid to launch into the unknown without a guide, praying that you will not get lost.
But wait, is that not what many newbie Online Entreprenuers do? After reading an article or two, the newbie Online Entrepreneur launch an online business and start struggling to succeed until his strength wanes out. Newbie Online Entrepreneurs often, take leaps of faith. They launch out online based on personal assumptions that they have acquired what it takes to be successful online. While in reality, they only have visions of what they want to accomplish but not the know-how. (more…)

Quality Content The Indispensable Contributor To Blogging Success

Monday, April 7th, 2008

Blogs are the choice of online information seekers. If you host quality content on your website and you update regularly, people who visit once and got quality information will tend to return again and again to your blog (quality traffic!😉 ). That is what makes quality content an indispensable contributor to your blogs success.

Have your visitors in mind. It is the content of your blog that people are attracted to. Not the advertisements. I was shocked when I discovered that some websites have been stealing contents from my posts and pasting them on their blogs. I have visited three different sites that did this (I will not paste their URL here because I do not want to give them more publicity). When I visited the sites, I was amused to discover that they were solely set-up for the purpose of displaying Google Ad-sense. To me, that was absolute rubbish. I will never click adverts on such site, and I guess so many other visitors will not either.

Upgrade Your WordPress Site Without Stress

Friday, April 4th, 2008

I have managed to upgrade my blog from WordPress 2.3.3 to WordPress 2.5 without stress. I used an automatic wordpress upgrade plugin. To me this is an important feat accomplished. I am a non-technical blogger, a total newbie to wordpress (less than 30days old)

Since the release of official release of WordPress 2.5, I have been scared to carry out the upgrade (remember I am a newbie 😉 ) I have been going round the web reading posts about how others upgraded from WordPress 2.3.3 to WordPress 2.5

The testimonies of fellow bloggers did not reduce my fear. In fact I got more scared as I read testimonies of people that got their website totally messed up because they failed to do something right. I have messed up my blog once, but then it was very new (so, it was easy to just redo the whole stuff). I cannot afford such at this point. So I told myself, I will upgrade at the end of April.

Earn Income Online By Trading Domain Names

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

Buying domain names and selling them for a profit is a good way to earn income online. Domain or website names simply refer to the addresses of websites on the internet. www.naijaecash.com is the Domain or website address for this site you are viewing.
The business of buying and selling domain requires a very small start-up capital. You can start with as low as $10. That means any Nigerian Entreprenuer doing business online can easily add Domain Names Trading to his/her online business portfolio. GoDaddy.com is currently offering domain names at a ridiculous price of $1.99!

See below some domain names that were purchased at less than $10 but sold for tens of thousand dollars.
