You Too Can Become A Successful Blogger

Saturday, April 12th, 2008

An average newbie blogger dreams of having a blog that receive thousands of visitors per day and earns 6digit incomes every month. Every new blogger wants to be like JohnChow, ShoeMoney, Yaro Starak etc. We want to be successful. We want to be famous in the blogosphere. What does it really take to achieve this?

Some assume that successful blogges were just lucky or genuies who possess extraordinary abilities. This is far from the truth. There is nothing extraordinary about successful bloggers. (A little research on their state in prior years before they became famous will confirm this) Rather they are just ordinary guys doing extra ordinary things because they have the right attitude, the needed blueprint and strong determination to persist until the goal is accomplished.

For an individual to succeed in any human endeavour, he must have confidence in himself. If you believe you can, then you can. If you believe you cannot then nobody will be able to help you achieve anything.

It is a well established fact that knowledge is required. Without the right blueprint you will not be able to coordinate resources at your disposal to accomplish your goal.

Also, persistency is indispensable. Keep at it until you get what you want. It does not matter how many times you fail. Just keep at it until you get that one success that will make the difference. Remember, winners never quit, and quitters never win. A little research will show you that some of those bloggers we consider famous today were unknown five years ago. However, their personal belief and strong determination have earned them a place in the hall of fame.

So, get your attitude towards your online business right. Stop thinking about all the reason why you cannot accomplish your set goal and start thinking about all the reason why you can set a new record.Get all the help you can to acquire a blueprint that will enable you coordinate your efforts. Make up your mind to keep working at your goal until your dream becomes a reality. See you at the top!

Do You Read Articles Written By Robots?

Friday, April 11th, 2008

Will you read articles written by Softwares if you happen to know the source of such articles? I will love to know your view about this.

I have been away from my desk for about a week now being that I was sent to another city on official assignment. Next to my family that I missed so much (I love being around them), I have missed the opportunity of interacting with my online friends and updating my blog.

Due to the nature of the assignment, it has been difficult updating my blog with articles. I thought of several things to do to savage the situation, but all the options did not quite satisfy me. One of the options opened to me was to simply copy articles that I found interesting and paste same verbatim while acknowledging the author. I was not quite comfortable with that option.

Another option was to simply use software to grab feeds I consider interesting and turn post them as articles on my site. That I consider unacceptable also.

Finally, I decided that I will rather post my personal ramblings rather than implement any of the aforementioned options. I believe my readers comes to the site to read original content or my unique view on a common topic, not others people opinion that I just copied and pasted.

Well that is my personal opinion, I am willing to learn from others that might have a diverge opinion on this issue. Thanks for visiting. Enjoy!

Quality Content The Indispensable Contributor To Blogging Success

Monday, April 7th, 2008

Blogs are the choice of online information seekers. If you host quality content on your website and you update regularly, people who visit once and got quality information will tend to return again and again to your blog (quality traffic!😉 ). That is what makes quality content an indispensable contributor to your blogs success.

Have your visitors in mind. It is the content of your blog that people are attracted to. Not the advertisements. I was shocked when I discovered that some websites have been stealing contents from my posts and pasting them on their blogs. I have visited three different sites that did this (I will not paste their URL here because I do not want to give them more publicity). When I visited the sites, I was amused to discover that they were solely set-up for the purpose of displaying Google Ad-sense. To me, that was absolute rubbish. I will never click adverts on such site, and I guess so many other visitors will not either.

Time to Show Appreciation

Saturday, April 5th, 2008

It is time to show appreciation to all those who have played one role or the other in helping NaijaEcash.com, to survive her first 30days of existence.
My first profound appreciation goes to the Almighty God who is the giver of life and good health. He is the source of wisdom and ideas.
Secondly, I want to appreciate everyone who have visited even for 1 second. Without visitors, who will I be writing for?
Thirdly, I want to thank all those that have contributed by way of advice, comments and constructive criticism. You are the reason why the blog is getting better.

Special thanks goes to

  • Arnold of ChalkisCheap for including me in the Entrecard Recipro Team
  • Powerdropping for sending free traffic my way
  • Jaseem Umer for picking me as winner of the contest on his blog and giving me one month free 125×125 banner advert.
  • Bola of MumsDadsChildren for diverse suggestions and blogging tips
  • PACE of Eolutosin for providing free consultancy services
  • And others who assisted in various ways, but I have forgotten! (if I forgot to mention your name or blog, please send the complain via my contact form, I promise to make amend 😉 ) .

Finally, I wish to thank my mentors. (You work behind the screen, unknown to my admirers, but the result they see and commend me for could not have been achieved without your gracious contributions). I am grateful.
