Why do you need a mentor?
I will answer the question using an illustration. If a man embarks on a tour of an unknowing territory without employing the service of an experienced guide, we will not be surprised if he ends up lost. Would we? Common sense demands that anyone embarking on a journey into an unknown territory should employ the service of the best guide that knows the territory very well. It is plain stupid to launch into the unknown without a guide, praying that you will not get lost.
But wait, is that not what many newbie Online Entreprenuers do? After reading an article or two, the newbie Online Entrepreneur launch an online business and start struggling to succeed until his strength wanes out. Newbie Online Entrepreneurs often, take leaps of faith. They launch out online based on personal assumptions that they have acquired what it takes to be successful online. While in reality, they only have visions of what they want to accomplish but not the know-how. Read the rest of this entry »
Get Yourself A Mentor
April 9th, 2008Quality Content The Indispensable Contributor To Blogging Success
April 7th, 2008Blogs are the choice of online information seekers. If you host quality content on your website and you update regularly, people who visit once and got quality information will tend to return again and again to your blog (quality traffic!π ). That is what makes quality content an indispensable contributor to your blogs success.
Have your visitors in mind. It is the content of your blog that people are attracted to. Not the advertisements. I was shocked when I discovered that some websites have been stealing contents from my posts and pasting them on their blogs. I have visited three different sites that did this (I will not paste their URL here because I do not want to give them more publicity). When I visited the sites, I was amused to discover that they were solely set-up for the purpose of displaying Google Ad-sense. To me, that was absolute rubbish. I will never click adverts on such site, and I guess so many other visitors will not either.
Have You Joined ADC?
April 6th, 2008The bible stated in 1Timothy 5:8 that a man that refuses to provide for the needs of his family is worse than an infidel. So, can we really blame a man for leaving home so early in the morning in pursuit of wealth? Can we blame a man for spending days away from his family in pursuit of wealth? I guess we canβt. A responsible man must provide financially for his family.
But wait a minute, what happens if the man looses the same family while preoccupied with the act of providing! Will that make any sense? There is a trend that I have been observing for some time now and I have caught myself joining the bandwagon on several occasions – the Absentee Daddies Club. Are you a member? It is quite unfortunate that so many married men are sacrificing the future of their family in their bid to provide for the physical needs of the same family.
Time to Show Appreciation
April 5th, 2008It is time to show appreciation to all those who have played one role or the other in helping NaijaEcash.com, to survive her first 30days of existence.
My first profound appreciation goes to the Almighty God who is the giver of life and good health. He is the source of wisdom and ideas.
Secondly, I want to appreciate everyone who have visited even for 1 second. Without visitors, who will I be writing for?
Thirdly, I want to thank all those that have contributed by way of advice, comments and constructive criticism. You are the reason why the blog is getting better.
Special thanks goes to
- Arnold of ChalkisCheap for including me in the Entrecard Recipro Team
- Powerdropping for sending free traffic my way
- Jaseem Umer for picking me as winner of the contest on his blog and giving me one month free 125×125 banner advert.
- Bola of MumsDadsChildren for diverse suggestions and blogging tips
- PACE of Eolutosin for providing free consultancy services
- And others who assisted in various ways, but I have forgotten! (if I forgot to mention your name or blog, please send the complain via my contact form, I promise to make amend π ) .
Finally, I wish to thank my mentors. (You work behind the screen, unknown to my admirers, but the result they see and commend me for could not have been achieved without your gracious contributions). I am grateful.
