How Do I Create Business Ideas?

You can create new business ideas in any niche you are passionate about by asking yourself 10 questions. Each question forces you to think deep and look for hidden opportunities which others have overlooked (because they were not obvious). I know you have been itching to make yourself stand-out by offering something unique, here is the opportunity, pick a product or service and subject it to the following queries:

  1. Is there a better method of doing this? – Let your imagination run wild, you will be surprised at the kind of business ideas you will come up with. The less it conforms to the norm the better.
  2. Can I make it bigger or smaller? – Sometimes size does make a big difference, that is called creativity in business. Give it a trial.
  3. Can I add something to it, subtracts something from it, or rearrange the order of things? – Bloggers are good at this. They are always adding or subtracting something from their themes to make it stand-out! That is the way to go in tuning and fine tuning your business ideas, until you get the unique business idea that you are willing to execute. (more…)

Today marks the 15year anniversary of the “Best Presidential Election” ever held in Nigeria. The election was annulled by the military and that incidence is popularly refer to as June 12 by Nigerians. Today, Nigerian Politicians will gather and make wonderful speeches about the incident and the adverse effect it has had on our growth as a nation. I am not a politician and I try as much as possible not to meddle in political debates. However, I am interested in the Hero of June 12 who was once the greatest Nigerian Entrepreneur!

Chief M.K.O Abiola as he is fondly called was a successful Nigerian Entrepreneur with a thriving business empire that spread its tentacles beyond the coast of Nigeria. He single handedly floated million dollar investments in different industries. He was a force to recon with in the Nigerian Airline Industry, (Concord Airline), he was making waves in the Nigerian News Media Industry with Concord Newpaper and was also doing well in other industries. How To Deal With Information Overload

How do you deal with information overload? I have more than three e-mail accounts. Each have suddenly become a terror and time stealer! Each day, there are several mails from opt-ins and newsletters that I have subscribed to at one website or the other. Some webmasters are inconsiderate; they send as much as two e-mails per week to me. Those e-mails cannot be called spam, because I requested for them, however, they are not helping me because they are too many and the information they provide does not justify the time I spend reading them.
