Nigerian Entrepreneur (NaijaEcash) Disclosure Policy

I have been reading about the need to have a disclosure policy on a blog like this one. I have procrastinated writing one until now. However, since I have decided to monetize the website, I felt it is necessary to have a disclosure policy that will guide my readers. Please note that this disclosure policy is not static, the terms are subject to change. The purpose of this post is to outline the terms that govern the entire website (all present and future pages inclusive). Please note that these terms are subject to change and since the disclosure policy will be manually updated by me (whenever I have the opportunity to do so), it may not accurately represent my current policies as at the time you are viewing it. If you want my current stance on an issue please contact me.

The information provided are meant to be a guide not an evidence presentable in a lawsuit.

As much as I can, I will indicate which links or products are free and those that I earn referral commissions on. However, my failure to disclose this does not make me liable in anyway.

Finally, please note that suggestions, tips and others given on this website should not be taken as a replacement for LICENSED experts guidance in financial matters. This website does not claim to be a replacement for the expert opinion of SOLICITORS, ACCOUNTANTS and other professionals who you may need to make good financial decisions. The website provides tips that are GENERAL and not PECULIAR to a particular case. 1. Great idea, considering your blog is a commercial one that discusses how to commercialize websites.
I think the best disclaimer I ever saw was at the front of the book, the Egoscue Method by Peter Egoscue. If you are the type of person who needs to read disclaimers then please stop reading now, I really don’t want you as a reader. I like that because its simple and it sets the rules of the interaction.

@Mwangi, that is the shortest disclaimer I have ever read. Simple and straight to the point. I guess a lot of people will continue reading even though they do not agree, but they are curious πŸ˜‰
When next I start a blog, I might consider using that, I guess some visitors will feel I am crazy or something. Cheers.
