U.S. stocks gained in CFD´s and the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index to a 13-month high; new home sales beat forecasts and jobless claims decreased, suggesting the economic recovery is broadening. The S&P 500 increased 0.5 percent to 1,110.63, the highest close since Oct. 2, 2008. The Dow Jones Industrial Average expanded 0.3 percent to 10,464.4. The Nasdaq Composite Index increased 0.3 percent to 2,176.05. The dollar traded at almost a 14- year low against the yen and declined beyond $1.51 per euro as the Federal Reserve’s signal that it will tolerate a weaker greenback encouraged investors to buy higher-yielding assets outside of America…
